I have an old Conn Helleberg "Chief" with the throat bored open. That's pretty darn big. I use it for German oom-pah gigs in a band where the director wants everything played in the lower octave. The gigs are very long, and the bigger cup gives me lots of room to compensate for my lips swelling up a bit. I just have be sure to breath a lot, obviously.
