My B&S F developed buzzes in the nickel-silver bell wreath several years ago when I was using it on jazz gigs and it would get hard use on the band stand. I never could seem to get it to stop for long. One day, my bell got whacked just hard enough to knock the rim up and out of alignment by about an eighth inch or so. The buzzing stopped right then, and I am not ABOUT to straighten out that slight bend!
No one who is posting seems to think that your bell is actually ringing (like brass sousa bells tend to do, sometimes). I think just about everyone who is responding believes that you have a buzz between the bell and bell wreath.
