I have been told that many people have improved the response on the MW2165 by removing the tone ring from the bell and/or the extra metal on the outside of the horn. If there is anyone out there with any experience with this stripping-down on their horn, then I would be very interested to know what kind of effects that it has on the sound, and if it really does help the response all that much. Thanks!
