You may want to try a deeper, helleberg style mouthpiece with a more open backbore than the one you currently use. This has a tendency to help put that register in tune. Those same notes were out of tune on my large piston horn, and switching to a deeper, more open mouthpiece dropped them to where they should be. On Terry Warburton's web site, he mentions backbore changes (albeit for trumpet) to correct various tuning problems. Just an idea, I am sure many of the masses may disagree. Good luck with your PT6P.
