Rudi Meinl size designations run larger than most manufacturers; the largest horn of his that is normally seen is labelled as his 5/4 and it's an appropriate horn for large ensembles. Charlie Krause once said that Rudi Meinl makes a so-called 6/4 CC on a special order basis which, for the lack of a better term, would be a "7/4" campared to the horns that Joe Felton lists. Can anyone verify or refute this? Has anyone ever seen or played one of these?
