I think Penderecki's Capriccio was written for James Gourlay, if my memory serves me correctly. His interpretation of it on the Gourlay Plays Tuba CD is much more witty and "jokelike" than Bobo's version. I performed it last semester on a recital and had alot of fun with it (missed a few notes, too!) Have fun with it!
