I also have a piggy. It is "stock", with factory linkage. It sounds great, and I consider it to be a very good quint / small ensemble horn, but I have to do entirely too much work to get the sound I want in a large ensemble. I use a Helleberg, and haven't found anything else that sounds as good.

My main gripes are the stock linkage and the size. If you have one that sounds great, get the conversion. It can't be any worse than the stock stuff.
