I have an old Belgian 3 piston sousa with very unique tubing design which is marked "Crown". Having now seen a picture of a WW1 Mahillon Helicon on Ebay I now think the Crown is a stencil by Mahillon since the unique tubing design and valve orientation is strikingly similar. Any ideas about when Mahillon made sousas? I know they made trumpets, tubas and other low brass. Anyone heard of Crown as a Belgian make? Can someone enlighten me as to whether Victor Charles Mahillon was a principal in the Belgian company? Is there any relationship between the Belgian company and the C. Mahillon company of London?

Sorry, full of questions and little answers, but its a funny old sousa and I'm just a curious type person. Greatly appreciate any info.
