We want to acquire an Eb and a BBb tuba for our brass band. We have heard and seen the Besson compensating front-action horns. They sound great and they look great and we think that's the route we'd like to go, but we have received advice that the BBb model (993) has had some manufacturing quality problems. Not so with the Eb (983), it gets great reviews. Anybody have some first hand experience with the BBb Besson?
