I find that when I go to a store like the Brasswind or a display at a tuba conference that it can be difficult to really evaluate a tuba after having played 10-15 instruments. Somethings become easier to discern but the waters become more muddied. There have been occasions where people have posted that they really like or really dislike a certain horn and I have found the opposite to be true for me. Just a thought.
