We have to just hope that somehow, Mr. Jacobs live performance under Henry Mazer will reappear under some generous auspices. Same approximate period as the DG recording, but a far better performance, one that Mr. Jacobs stood behind.
Meanwhile, with all due respect to John Fletcher, doesn't anyone like Mike Lind's performance?
