comings of a working professionals career please re-read my post.(yes I am Mr. Just a Thought) ALL I implied was that tubaist’s need to be good musicians first. It is a given that they know all of the excerpts inside and out, have world class sounds and great low registers. It would be foolish of me to say that only great soloists get jobs, that is not true. Also I’m sure that there are many fine teachers in Europe that teach tuba and are great musicians. I don’t recall slighting any of them in my post. When I hear criticisms that start with “I've heard that Roger Bobo now” I can only assume that the poster has no personal experience with this person.
