What does it matter how the DG recording was made, or how unprepared everybody was? The fact remains that this is not a great recording of the VW Concerto. My vote goes for the Michael Lind, and Fletcher recordings as well. But, we've lost sight of the original question, which was where can this person obtain a copy of the Jacobs recording? I suggest that you go to a big city, and comb through as many used LP stores as you can possibly stomach. I'll take a look at Amoeba Music in San Francisco for you. You might also bug Berkshire Music, who are located back east somewhere. I know that they do have a web site, and I think they keep their stock information "on line" as well.
