Isn't Carol Conger in that area? I'm not 100% sure, but I believe she is. She's an EXCELLENT accompanist, specializes in accompanying low brass... she's probably played more tuba literature than most of us. She was accompanying Dan Perantoni the 3 or 4 times I sam him give a recital, and I've seen her accompany Vaughan Williams, Hindemith, Beaversdorff, Plog, etc. If she is indeed in that area, she's definitely worth looking up.
