I was thinking that this was more recent, like the past four or five months. By the way, I picked up electric as a doubling instrument, and it became my primary instrument for 25 years. Like the tuba, it's an easy instrument to pick up . . . badly. It takes just as much work on both to become a musician, not just an instrument holder.
