Hello All -

I realize this forum is for tuba and euphonium
players, but I wanted to post this here in hopes that
some of you will forward this message to your trumpet
and trombone playing friends.

The Monumental Brass Quintet, located in Washington,
D.C., is currently seeking applicants for trumpet and
trombone. Aside from being a very active brass
quintet that performs throughout the Mid-Atlantic
region on a regular basis, the MBQ also tours
throughout the United States every year. The MBQ is
also the Brass Quintet in Residence at the Levine
School of Music in Washington, D.C., and all members
of the MBQ are appointed as faculty members at the
Levine School upon becoming a member of the MBQ.

For further information, salary, rehearsal schedule,
etc., please contact Pat Whitehead at:

mbqpat(AT)aol.com

You can also visit the MBQ website at:

http://www.monumentalbrass.org

Or call the MBQ office at:

301.322.4582.

FWIW, in addition to returning to my professional solo
tuba career this fall, I will be joining the group as
their new tuba player in August of 2001. We hope to
have the new trumpet and trombone player onboard by 01
August 2001, so we can begin rehearsals and
preparations for the 2001-2002 concert/touring season.

Thanks for your time, and your help in passing this on
to interested folks.

Take care,

Kelly Mankowski-O'Bryant
