For solo playing, Oystein Baadsvik's CD is a must. The best Madsen Sonata you'll hear (wait till you hear him play it live, wow!), a great Hindemith Sonata and an original spin on the Kraft Encounters. This guy is THE most purely musical tuba player I've ever heard.
