I believe the brass tubing connecting the ports within a piston valve are called liners; are these liners typically silver-soldered into the piston itself, soft-soldered (tin-lead), or something else? Does the soldering method differ for different types of valves (e.g. nickel-plated brass pistons, Monel pistons, stainless steel pistons)?
Thanks for any information you might be able to provide.
