They were made in the Boosey & Hawkes factory for the Salvation Army. I have played 4 valved compensating Eb Triumphonic tubas. They are good and very heavily built to stand rough usage. Two of them were used in the Carnegie-Mellon University Marching Band under the direction of Dr. Dick Strange about 35 years ago!
