It looks like in your circumstances the BBb Cerveny would be the way to go. It's a high powered piece with enormous requirements down there. I once heard Fletcher play it with Previn and the LSO in Carnegie Hall. Fletcher played it on his Holton 6/4. He ROCKED!
My conductor wants to do it and has been blocked so far by a board member who doesn't like it. So play well for all of us that won't get to because of stupid board members, and ENJOY it!
