I posted a question about practicing Mahler 1 below. Now I would like to know what YOUR favorite recording is. I lean to an older Nonesuch recording with Jascha Horenstein conducting the LSO. The overall effect is stunning and the little tuba tune in then third movement is one of the best ever set down for posterity. Please chime in with your favorite. I would hope all of us would go for the total picture and just not the first 40-50 bars of the third movement. If Jay Bertolet is reading, I have misplaced your recording that won the prize a few years back. Is it still available? Thanks in advance to all responding.

Chuck
