I will second Chuck by saying you had better give your parents that much deserved hug and do whatever they ask of you.
You have narrowed your selection down to two very nice horns and either one would make a great all around tuba. It now comes down to which one you sound better on. The 4/4 Nirshl will not be made any more when the new Besson 4/4 CC hits the market. If you can snag one up that fits the bill then go for it. I just tried a used one out last week that I really liked but after purchasing a new F a few weeks ago I do not think my wife would like me very much if I went and picked it up too. The PT 6 is a great horn too. I prefer the rotary model of this horn myself but your mileage may vary.
