I just returned from playing the alumni/retiree USMA Band concert at West Point, NY. The three tubists in the band use the B&S PT-6P's (owned by the Band). They have a very rich full sound, and provide a great foundation for the Band.
The Nirschl 4/4 tuba (and soon-to-be released Besson copy) is smaller and might be somewhat more nimble. Your decision depends on what type of playing you do, and your preferences.
