The PT-10 and PT-15 have the same dimensions and wrap from what I can tell. The PT-15 has a gold brass leadpipe while the PT-10 came with two interchangable leadpipes. The PT-15 also has a heavier bell than the PT-10. I like both horns for different reasons. The PT-15 might have a tendency to sound darker than the PT-10. The 15 was marketed as an improved PT-10 so I bought that one. Both are equally great.

In the US, F tuba is not used very much in military bands, but the auditions very frequently ask for prepared solos. Most of the better solo literature sounds better on F tuba than CC. A very typical military band auditionee has an F tuba and a 4/4-5/4 CC.
