What are you talking about?!?!?! The experts here have all told you that the most "American" tubas are made by Walter Nirschl, Peter Hirbrunner, and Yamaha (just being sarcastic again).
Actually, I agree very strongly about the big Martins. In addition, the Martin battleship models don't have the "suck" 3rd partial (They're AMAZING in-tune tubas.), even though significantly fatter throughout than Conns, Holtons, and Yorks.
