Although I have never played that particular horn, I agree with the sentiment. It's tough to find old York or Holton 6/4 BBbs that haven't been cut to CC. I've also heard a number of stories of how many of these horns lose the qualities that made them great after they've been cut. With all the great CC horns available today there should be no need to cut any of these great old BBbs.
