I don't know if the Austin Symphony still owns it, but I never saw Steve Bryant using it in the many years that I lived in Austin. That was in the early 80's. I also heard no discussion of it, and suspect that it had either departed (one way or the other) or was hiding and forgotten. Were it visible, especially if its pedigree were known, it would have been firmly fixed in the local lore, or so it seems to me.
