Ok, thanks for the info. My Getzen's slides move vary well, but the slides on my old mirafone, stand out as a good example of what it means to be STUCK. I think if i ever were to grease em back up they could be satisfactory, however, when I got the horn the 1st and 2nd slides were both CORRODED (pink colored, really gross) and it took some major taking apart to get everything set.
Would plating prevent corrosion?
