Which is why I wondered in another thread if there were any really bad horns out there, or if every horn meets the requirements of at least someone successfully.

Of course, I do not include in this wondering those instruments that were designed at the outset to be wall-hangers, like what I call furniture-grade pianos.

Here's an example: An Olds O-99 has a wonderful reputation as a beginner tuba. For its requirements, it is a great tuba.
