Purchase a foam pad for a full-sized matress from Wal-Mart or the like. Cut is up and stuff foam everyone that there might be motion. If you've got front-action valves, you should remove the springs and tape the pistons down. On the bell end, fill the void with a partially inflated beach ball. Don't put anything in your case except the horn.... no mouthpieces or music stands. Don't put the foam where is applies pressure to the small tuning slides. Base most of your support on the large brances. Lastly, go to an auto parts store and buy several webbing straps. Wrap the case end to end and also around the width. Tie the strapping ends and tape them so they can't come loose. The important things are that the case stays closed in transit and there is NO movement of the horn inside the case. Good luck.
