The Buescher BBb's used an upper mouthpipe shaped like an Olds, basically, sort-of "L"-shaped, but they were the bore size more like a Conn. I custom-fabricated one for the BBb Buescher I use for gigs, and it works great. To build a neck, I'd use both ends off a Conn neck, an Olds-style brace, then measure and bend a new pipe, assemble and finish it. For someone that had a real jewel of a old horn and was concerned about appearance, I'd fabricate original-style bracing and an original-style bit, which looks really neat.
