Nah, not a panzie at all. I remember watching my HS marching band when i was in 6th grade (just started tuba) and noticed that the sousaphone players were the only ones who weren't holding there arms in VERY uncomfortable positions, and I said so rather loudly. Someone pointed out that while the trumpets arms my hurt, he bet their feet felt better. Looking back, I don't think my feet ever hurt.

Uhh, where was i going with this? Oh yeah....

Sousaphone is DEFINITELY the way to go.
-You can do cool moves and tricks and dances w/ them,

-you don't have to contort your body to play them,

-big bells are COOL,

-you can strap water bottles, music, etc, to them without it being awkward

-free shade during Band Camp

-i like them ;-)
