I've tried three 191's, and I don't like them. I'm sure some people know I'm not a huge fan of the King 2341, and I like IT better than the 191.
Maybe its my concept of sound, but the 191 just sucked, for lack of a better term. I got a thin and/or blatty sound--thin when soft, blatty when loud. Ergonomically, I hated holding it. And, I just think they are ugly (I know I know, thats subjective.)
For reference, I have played and liked--Getzen CB-50, Mirafone 186 BBb, Mirafone 184? CC, Yamaha 103 BBb, and, uhh, some others, cant remember. I know, not much, but it works.
Didn't like-Yamaha 201, Yamaha 321, St. Pete (construction), King 2341, Mirafone 191.
Check around for other BBb horns at better prices. You WILL find better ;-)
