It's a great part, and is included in Gene Pokorney's orchestral excerpts CD.
There is a nice soli part with the hard brass (trumpets, trombones), then with just the horns, where the tonal color should change subtly to better blend with the different sections. A few exposed solos, some rhythmically interesting parts, and a "wall of sound" section (think Great Gate of Kiev) towards the end.

Relative to Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet or Symphony 5, it is not that challenging, but the piece is very interesting, probably in my top-10 list of orchestral pieces.
