Provided one takes all this serious, it is hard to imagine, that material is only 1 - 10% responsible for the sound, also - if plating of some "my" (here meant as a Greek letter) really should make a difference, then the difference in all sound attributes between a fiberglass and a brass sousa should be "dramatic".
