1/ Have you freed the stop arm from the rotor stem? If not, do you know how to do so safely?

2/ Have you removed the back bearing from the rotor casing? If not, do you know how to do so safely?

If your answers to 1b and 2b are "no", you had best find someone to assist.

If your answers to 1a and 2a are "no", my best guess is that your answers to 1b and 2b are "no".

If both of these parts are removed, you might simply have some surface tension, as the lapping marks run laterally. If this is the only problem, just get brave and push. (Have your other hand ready to catch it.)
