I purchased one of the Apperson mutes and it works just fine in my CB50. All registers respond very well. The mute came very quickly in the mail and comes with recommendations on how to alter the corks if needed. I also believe that Apperson will make a mute for just about any kind of tuba. I would definitely recommend this mute.
