There will be a memorial service for Mr. Oscar LaGassé at 11AM Friday June 21, 2002 at First United Methodist Church in Royal Oak Michigan. (320 W 7th Street, Royal Oak MI 48067). The trombone section of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra (augmented with retired trombone players of the DSO) along with myself will perform several selections. I will play three solos at the service for Mr. LaGassé. We all will miss Oscar very much.
