My 1957 Conn Catalog has different pictures, but also makes it clear that the 2XJ horns come with an "adjustible tuning bit"; likewise my 1938 Conn Catalog and a copy I have of an about 1934 or 35 Conn Bass brochure. When I played 20J and 25J Conns in the 1960s and early 1970s, they always had a tuning bit. In fact, I can't remember anyone playing a 2XJ without a tuning bit back in the '50s, 60's and 70's.
