I LOVE the one I purchased for my university here. It is NOT a cure-all, and actually can do damage (e.g., a yamaha 621 with thin walls that were ridged after light use) but for heavier walled instruments, can save you a ton of cosmetic repair money.

I bought mine through my local merchant, because you will be unable to purchase directly from UMI, the host company. I saw alot of prices kicked around at Midwest, but I got mine for less than $500 US. Incidentally, this same merchant, Leithold Music of La Crosse, WI, has excellent repair techs who do world-class work. They will never be replaced by some ball-and-magnet gizmo. I only purchased it because it would help light blemishes, last minute dings, and I'm a GIZMO kind of guy.

Caveat Emptor.
