Rotary valves came from Czechia (Cerveny). Vertical pistons come from France. Vertical pistons with compensation came from England. Front action pistons came from the US. By and large.

However top pistons OVER the top bow were mainly French. Aside from the doublophone documented in this thread I have only seen one more such British instrument from the first 2/3's of the 20th century. It was a richly engraved alto horn from a smaller maker (saw it the last time around 1970).

Around 1970 B&H issued the Sovereign Eb alto horn and Bb 3 valve comp baritone with this design. A few years ago a similar 4 valve comp Bb baritone was added to the line (with a very cramped wrapping, and with the comp loops on the 1st and 3rd pistons having the same length, very odd).
