I liked the discussion about human responses to this situation.
I think its interesting though, that the underlying emphasis in several folk's comments seemed focussed more upon the priority of the teacher rather than the student? What I mean is, do those students at OU exist primarily for the benefit of the (new) teacher and his department, or the other way around?
