Amen. It is also beyond me how a band and/or a booster club can justify raising 80K to 100K for a trip, but the band director complains non-stop about the terrible condition (or the lack) of the instruments in the inventory or the poor condition of the uniforms or how badly needed a second rehearsal hall is...but the trip to Florida was great.
