I was just looking at my horn, and there are three different slides to pull on the 4th valve. I caught myself wondering if one slide was better to pull than the other, if I got different outcomes from pulling the different slides. For example, rather than have slide A pulled out 4", could I pull out slide C, at a different point in the entire side, only 2" with the same result. Or one might say pull both slides A & C out 2", or slides A,B, & C 1.33333333"?
