I used the Lehman deep model mpc. for a couple of years while I was finishing up at Ithaca. It is a huge cup, deeper than a Shilke 60 with a french horn type funnel cup and a backbore that you can drop a pencil clear though. The sound is obviously full of low overtones and the sound needs to be livened up a little, but there are several great musicians that have made a living on them, including Arthur Lehman and Glenn Call. I play on a Bowman BB1BT on my Hirsbrunner, and a BB1EU on the band-owned Willson now, but the Lehman is definately a good training device to show you how to push a lot of air through the horn. The one I have is a copy made by Doug Houser and I got it through Dillon's. You may also want to contact Glenn Call to get some info. Tell him I said hi.
