I play a MW 451 and when I bought it I was very disapointed in the tuning but I contacted John Mueller, a MW performing artist and asked what was the deal with the tuning. He replied and told me a trick to do to bring the 6th partial pitch down, he said to bevel the inside of the main tuning slide, with a knife or sissors. I did it and it worked wonderfully and my tuning is great now. anyone with that axe should try it and wee if it wroks fo them.
