I own a 4/4 York upright BB flat from the 30's. If there is one thing that can be considered a problem, it is the ergonamics. I can see where there is a problem with the angle and placement of the leadpipe where the horn can be pushed out with a beer belly. I found it a lot easier using a stand. A lot of people use a stand with Yorks or York clones including Mr Jacobs. Wonder if Donatelli ever tried a stand?
