If the contrabass tubas have similar bore sizes, then it should just be a matter of switching fingerings. If not, you simply use more air. As to the F tuba, I agree with Lee in that you shouldn't throw too much into the mix; you will simply sound awful on everything. If all else fails, take a weeklong break from playing. I just did this unintentionally, my playing was getting worse before, as was my sound, and even though my lips feel like rocks, I sounded and played way better than before.
