Even armed with this bit of knowledge, syrup of ipecac stays in my home poison control kit.
One item that few people are aware of is that hydrogen peroxide is an unstable compound and decomposes into water and oxygen over time. So that bottle in your medicine cabinet that's been there since the Clinton administration probably should be replaced.
