How many of you out there have anything to put on a resume that will help to get you a job in the real world?

You students, think about this carefully so you're not hit in the face out in the real world like I was, recently. XYZ Marketting firm doesn't care how many years you played in the Alamagordo Symphony, or how many private students you had in Derryberry county public schools. ABC IT Company doesn't care how high you placed in the Boston audition, nor how many concerto competitions you won in college. QRS Realty doesn't care how well you can play Bydlo on your CC tuba, or for how long you can circular breathe on your euph.

So this begs the question- when you strip the musical fluff from your resume, what marketable skills are you left with?
